My 2 Week Recap

33 Comments/ 3864/ 0

It has been a wild 2 weeks.  I woke up in my own bed, with my own husband (good thing, huh?) Drinking my favorite coffee.  Cuddling with my favorite cats.  Life is good!

I LOVE my life.  Can I just say that again?  I LOVE MY LIFE!   The past two weeks I have stayed in 5 different places and even though that makes it a challenge for packing I did really well this time packing exactly the right stuff and came home with only a couple things that I did not use.  WIN!

So what did I do the past couple of weeks???   I started off with a road trip to Ohio.  I attended a memorial service for a dear family friend.  I helped my sister pack for an upcoming move in June.  I flew to Florida and helped our son sort and pack his possessions for his move to NYC in August.  I flew back to Ohio and spent a few days with my mom.  I drove to spend a night with my sister in law and her family and picked up my brother in law for a 2 week visit and yesterday we had the epic drive from Ohio to Iowa.

It has been a crazy couple of weeks but filled with a lot of family fun and many memories were made.  Enjoy my photo journal of a few of the fun times!

There you have it!! 2 weeks in review!!!  The next two weeks will be fun with Carlton here.  He settled in just fine–was thrilled that we put a tv in “his” room and spent the evening opening cupboards and cabinets, freezer and fridge doors and exploring.   Life is good.

Come back tomorrow for the Comments for a Cause tally and reveal!!!

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
